CGK Extra Deep Full Sheet Set – 6pc Cooling Sheets – French Grey is a microfiber bedding set designed to solve the problem of sheets popping off oversized mattresses by offering an industry-leading pocket depth of up to 24 inches. In this review, we break down its real-world performance, core capabilities, and limitations to see if it lives up to the hype. If you are struggling with thick pillow-top mattresses or memory foam toppers that refuse to stay covered, this bedding set delivers a direct solution.
Key Features & Benefits ✨
- ⚡ Extreme Pocket Depth: Specifically engineered to fit mattresses between 18 and 24 inches deep, ensuring a secure fit for extra-tall beds.
- 🎯 Topper Compatibility: Optimized for double pillow-top mattresses and 3-4 inch memory foam toppers, preventing the constant need to readjust sheets.
- 🛡️ Secure-Fit Elastic: Features high-stretch elastic around the fitted sheet that creates a tight tug to lock the bedding in place.
- ✨ Premium Microfiber Build: Crafted from ultra-soft microfiber that is softer than traditional cotton for a cozy, breathable sleep experience.
Pros & Cons ⚖️
✅ What We Like:
- Accommodates massive mattress depths up to 24 inches, which is rare for standard full-size sets.
- Comprehensive 6-piece set including 4 oversized pillowcases (20×30 in) for maximum versatility.
- Superior softness compared to crisp cotton, ideal for those preferring a light, plush feel.
- Secure enclosure designs on pillowcases keep pillows from sliding out during the night.
❌ What Could Be Better:
- Microfiber lacks the traditional “crisp” feel that some purists prefer in high-thread-count cotton.
- Specific French Grey color may vary slightly in tone depending on room lighting.
Final Verdict: Is CGK Extra Deep Full Sheet Set – 6pc Cooling Sheets – French Grey Worth It? 🎯
Buy it if: You are a mattress owner with an extra-thick pillow top or memory foam topper who explicitly needs to achieve a secure, no-slip fit and wants an efficient, reliable way to manage your bedding.
Skip it if: You are on a strict zero-dollar budget, or if you already use an alternative that handles 24-inch depths natively and you prefer 100% crisp cotton fabrics.
